Mitchell Wind Energy LLC (Mitchell Wind Energy) is proposing to install up to seven Meteorological (MET) towers to evaluate wind resources and other atmospheric conditions on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land within the Roswell and Carlsbad Field Offices in Chaves and Eddy County, NM. In addition, up to four ground-based Light Detection And Ranging (LIDAR) units will be installed near the base of one MET tower and relocated to a different MET tower location every 6 to 12 months.
